We are offering a contract position for an Administrative Assistant in Chesapeake, Virginia. As an Administrative Assistant, the key responsibilities will revolve around supporting office operations and maintaining orderly and efficient administrative processes.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle inbound and outbound calls and ensure a high level of customer service
• Proactively undertake office tasks such as filing and scanning documents
• Plan and coordinate office events to foster a well-knit office environment
• Exhibit proficiency in data entry and email correspondence to ensure smooth workflow
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word to perform various administrative tasks
• Schedule appointments efficiently to ensure smooth functioning of office operations
• Exhibit an ability to take constructive criticism and use it for personal and detail-oriented growth
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role• Proven ability to handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills and experience
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Experience in correspondence through email
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
• Proficiency in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excellent skills in document creation and editing in Microsoft Word
• Demonstrated ability to schedule appointments effectively
