We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing administrative support, primarily to attorneys, with minimal phone handling involved. The role is based in an on-site office with parking facilities provided.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to attorneys, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Handle daily mail operations, ensuring prompt and accurate distribution
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for various administrative tasks and correspondence
• Maintain and manage legal documentation effectively
• Execute filing duties to keep all relevant documents organized
• Handle occasional internal calls, providing information and assistance as required
• Manage front desk operations, even though there is no walk-in traffic
• Assist in business correspondence, ensuring clear and professional communication
• Help in the preparation and management of wills and other legal documents
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience in providing administrative assistance is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in handling daily mail tasks is necessary.
• Must have the ability to manage business correspondence efficiently.
• Familiarity with maintaining and managing filing systems is required.
• Experience in handling legal documentation is desirable.
• Knowledge of wills and related legal processes would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality handling sensitive data.
