Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant in the engineering industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. This Part Time role requires 3x days a week of onsite work. This role provides a unique chance to support various departments including Human Resources and Marketing, in addition to light Executive Assistant duties. This position offers a contract with potential for a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Human Resources and Marketing departments
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
• Manage email correspondence and schedule appointments for multiple executives
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for various tasks
• Assist with file management projects, including uploading PDFs and sharing scanned files
• Demonstrate strong skills in using Excel for tasks such as creating pivot tables
• Complete administrative tasks related to HR administration
• Provide support to multiple executives in various functions
• Ensure all customer credit applications and records are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent customer service skills• Ability to perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
• Exceptional skills in email correspondence, ensuring clear and detail oriented communication
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proven experience in scheduling appointments for multiple executives
• Prior experience in Human Resources (HR) administration is desirable
• Ability to multitask effectively, managing the needs of multiple executives simultaneously
