Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant based in Troy, Ohio, United States. The role is in the agricultural industry and involves working onsite in a small business environment. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and is central to the efficient operation of our team. This is a part time position, working 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
• Digitize incoming mail to ensure accessibility for employees in various locations
• Assist with HR functions, including payroll and onboarding activities
• Support clerical work related to employee benefits and record keeping
• Work closely with our accountant and assist with basic accounting tasks
• Help manage relationships with our accounting and legal firms
• Oversee document tracking, particularly in relation to contracts
• Manage financials through QuickBooks online, including helping to manage receivables
• Act as a liaison between different parts of the business, coordinating tasks and communication
• Assist in the digitization of paper files for more streamlined operations
• Schedule appointments and manage inbound and outbound calls to ensure smooth business operations.

• Proven experience in an administrative role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining databases.
• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively.
• Experience acting as a liaison between different departments or organizations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions.
• High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in business administration or a related field will be considered a plus.
