Summary You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the MY NAVY CAREER CENTER (MNCC) AND TRANSACTION SERVICE CENTERS (TSC) of TRAVEL PROCESSING CENTER. Responsibilities You will provide assistance with multiple aspects of established security programs to include Information Security (INFOSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security and Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP). You will comply with Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Navy (DON) directives and regulations. You will submit building access requests, process incoming and outgoing visit request, system authorization access request, non-disclosure agreements, security termination documents and other actions regarding security customer services issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Assists in the management and administration of the command Security Program. 2. Conducts investigations of security violations and prepares necessary reports. 3. Prepares and submits building access requests, System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR), security termination documents and other action regarding security customer service issues; and 4. Identifies security problems, analyzing alternatives and recommending solutions. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
