Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the IS3 of NSA CRANE SEC DET. Responsibilities You will direct the development of threats, risks, and vulnerability assessments and their integration into an overall Risk Management Plan for the command. You will develop installation security and Anti-Terrorism plans, emergency actions plans, and crisis response plans for a comprehensive security program. You will perform drills of stated Random Anti-Terrorism Measures (RAM) to include entry and exit inspections. You will deliver security training to others for the understanding of and consistent use of security policies, procedures, and regulations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implement risk mitigation measures based on the assessment of threats and vulnerabilities;2) Execute Antiterrorism (AT) program in accordance to policies and procedures;3) Coordinate with agencies to ensure understanding of antiterrorism security needs of the organization; and 4) Develop discrepancy reports of physical security items for repair or replacement. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience.
