Summary You will serve as a PERSONNEL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Naval Health Clinic of NMRTC QUANTICO VA. Responsibilities You will serve as Commanding Officer's advisor and direct representative in matters pertaining to security of classified information held at the command and eligibility of personnel to access classified information. You will monitor, direct, and develop command procedures for Classified Material Control Program and handling of classified and sensitive materials. You will coordinate Information Assurance Manager, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, Emergency Management, and Physical Security Officers on matters of common concern. You will administer security clearance program. You will maintain all training files and records for those who possess eligibility for a security clearance, for annual training, counterintelligence briefings, and other required training. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, directing and monitoring policies and procedures for access to restricted, limited or controlled areas. Reviewing security investigation packages for accuracy. Performing investigations into the loss or compromise of classified materials and determining potential damage. Monitoring, directing and developing procedures for Classified Material Control Programs and handling of classified and sensitive materials. Maintaining training files and records for security clearances and training.
