Summary You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT in the Security Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. Responsibilities You will implement security programs that are administrative based. You will process record checks, fingerprint and coordinate personnel management responsibilities. You will establish security oversight over classified work carried out by cleared DOD contractor employees. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-5 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following clerical and administrative duties: 1) Preparing and maintaining security files and records; 2) Drafting routine correspondence relating to security; and 3) Providing customer service in support of security programs (e.g., pass and identification, police records, physical security, entry point control). GS-04 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. GS-4 Level: Successful completion of at least two full academic years of education above high school; OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
