Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the G-6 COMMUNICATIONS ELECTRONICS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. Responsibilities You will develop and implement guidance and directive(s) for local users on the proper use and safeguarding of COMSEC key and material utilized by the EKMS staff and Local Element(s). You will review and provide oversight of the EKMS/COMSEC EAP, ensuring personnel are familiar and trained on emergency procedures and is coordinated with the commands overall emergency action plan. You will work with senior level command, staff and supported customers on a regular basis. You will brief, as required, senior level staff on matters pertaining to COMSEC and advises the Commander on new policy and procedure that arise from DoN or higher authority. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, evaluating work, processes and operating procedures for the purpose of safeguarding Classified Communication Security (COMSEC) material(s); evaluate complex reports and prepare logically written recommendations to improve or establish security systems.
