The ideal candidate will have a substantial portable book of business and a proven track record of managing life science intellectual property matters, including prosecution, transactional, and litigation work. This role offers a competitive compensation package, starting at $600,000+, and presents an excellent opportunity to lead and grow the firm’s life science IP practice. Duties

Lead and manage life science intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, licensing agreements, and IP litigation. Develop and implement strategic plans for IP portfolio management and growth. Provide expert advice on complex life science IP issues to clients and internal teams. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels. Drive business development efforts to expand the firm’s client base and revenue in the life sciences sector. Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff in IP matters. Collaborate with other practice areas to offer comprehensive legal solutions to clients. Stay current on industry trends, legal developments, and emerging technologies in the life sciences field. Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona. Experience in life science intellectual property law. Demonstrated success with a portable and consistent business book of $600,000+. Extensive experience in patent prosecution, IP transactions, and litigation within the life sciences sector. Proven ability to manage and lead complex IP matters effectively. Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Bachelor's degree in a life science field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology) or a related scientific discipline. Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain licensure). Skills
