We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the logistics industry, based in Pasadena, Texas. We are seeking a Logistics Customer Service Representative who will be a key point of contact for all logistics operations and customer inquiries. This role involves managing customer interactions, maintaining detailed records, and coordinating transport logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for all logistics-related customer inquiries and issues
• Receive and manage emails related to logistics operations
• Utilize CRM and ERP solutions to process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer records
• Use Excel for managing spreadsheets, executing vlookups and pivot tables to support logistics operations
• Coordinate and track the allocation of trucks to specific jobs
• Implement business systems and software such as Cargowise and About Time to streamline logistics processes
• Handle import and export customer service inquiries
• Ensure efficient and effective communication with customers and internal team members
• Oversee billing functions related to logistics operations
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of supply chain logistics and transportation logistics to effectively address customer inquiries.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics industry

• Strong proficiency in business systems including CRM and ERP solutions

• In-depth understanding of billing functions in a logistics context

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proven track record in delivering high-quality customer service

• Knowledge of customs procedures and regulations

• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain logistics and transportation logistics

• Experience in both export and import customer service

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex Excel formulas
