We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in NORWOOD, Massachusetts. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be part of a team where your primary functions will revolve around managing accounting tasks, maintaining precise records, and handling customer inquiries efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications.
• Keep precise records of customer credit.
• Review and manage payroll reports, understanding the dynamics of debits vs credits.
• Efficiently update cash spreadsheets and demonstrate proficiency in Excel.
• Handle routine filing tasks.
• Analyze bill back reports and accurately input numbers onto an excel summary sheet.
• Oversee the process of check runs by selecting invoices in the accounting system that were approved for payment.
• Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient task completion.
• Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Perform auditing tasks and bank reconciliations.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge and experience in Auditing
• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
