Robert Half is hiring: Accounting Manager in Sugar Land

We are in search of an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, overseeing the AP, AR, and Payroll functions. You will also supervise a team of employees and provide support for both external and internal audits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of US Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll
• Supervise, train and mentor a team of employees
• Provide support during internal and external auditing processes
• Collaborate with the Treasury team to effectively manage cash flow
• Review and perform certain balance sheet reconciliations
• Suggest improvements in AP/AR/Payroll processes when necessary
• Carry out other duties to assist the Controller as required
• Leverage skills in SAP and supervisory management to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure month-end close processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage billing functions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Prefer a CPA license but not required

Prefer 10 years of accounting experience with strong understanding of AP, AR, and Payroll.

Must be bilingual Mandarin as the role will interface with operations in China

Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, familiar with SAP is a plus

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

Minimum Travel required.
