Robert Half is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Plant Controller to join our client's dynamic team. This position is responsible for managing all accounting and cost-related aspects at our manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all daily accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls.
• Develop and analyze cost standards for materials and labor to determine product costs; work with plant management on production efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Review costs and perform cost accumulation and allocation routines for accurate inventory valuation and margin assessment.
• Collaborate with plant operation teams and corporate offices on financial and cost related matters.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven years working in a manufacturing environment.
• Past leadership experience in an accounting or cost management role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in chemical manufacturing.
