Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, organized, and has excellent problem-solving skills. This company offers a close-knit team, growing organization, and collaborative culture. This position is onsite.

The salary for this position is $100k - $120k.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate timely preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supervise, train, hire accounting staff to ensure work is completed accurately and timely.
• Managing internal control policies and procedures.
• Oversee financial accounts, budget, cash, and financial assets.
• Assist the external tax team in preparation of tax returns.
• Perform other accounting duties as required or assigned.

The Accounting Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting (GAAP), finance, and management principles.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
