Accounting Manager/Controller (40262)

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Manager/Controller. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, organized, and has excellent problem-solving skills. The Accounting Manager/Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, and coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

The Accounting Manager/Controller will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
