About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance and Accounting to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner, providing direction on financial reporting, ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting, and all aspects of financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the business's financial strategy is in line with its goals, and the VP will be responsible for external and internal financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, risk and insurance, and accounting operations. The VP will also be involved in people management, driving change, and managing new business due diligence. Applicants for the VP of Finance and Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a CPA preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, a proven track record in team management, and the ability to communicate effectively with executive-level leadership. Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, and a strong understanding of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial process improvement are essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in job cost and project accounting, be adept at driving results, and have the emotional intelligence to manage change and prioritize effectively.
