About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Northern Nevada Chapter. This pivotal role is focused on community relations, capacity building, fundraising, and board leadership. The successful candidate will be the face of the organization in the region, responsible for maximizing its presence and connectivity in the community. This includes developing sustained relationships to ensure the capacity to achieve regional mission goals, as well as leading fundraising activities to meet the set targets. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing the chapter board and community volunteer leaders to effectively mobilize support and resources around the mission. A key aspect of the role is to influence and create an environment of teamwork and inclusion to deliver against the organization's mission and the needs of the community. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and work experience, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. The role requires strong leadership skills, a proven track record in fundraising, and excellent communication abilities, including media relations. The ideal candidate will have the drive to meet the outlined goals and may be required to travel within the chapter jurisdiction and beyond.
