About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead one of its senior living communities. The successful candidate will be the community leader, with a primary focus on financial, human resource, and operations management. The Executive Director's objective is to foster a warm, compassionate, and secure atmosphere that promotes the independence and activity of all residents while ensuring the community's profitability. Key responsibilities include overseeing all community operations and departments, managing a large team, building relationships with residents and families, and working closely with the sales and marketing director to maintain full occupancy. The role also involves budget development, staff training, and being available 24/7 for emergency situations. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of three years of management experience in the senior housing industry, with a preference for a college degree. Advanced computer skills, excellent communication, a desire to work with senior adults, and strong leadership abilities are essential. The role requires the ability to solve complex operational and personnel issues, as well as the willingness to obtain a state administrator's certification within ninety days if managing an assisted living building.
