Description
Directs vision for student-facing culture experiences across Dallas ISD, including strategic planning to support strong execution of vision and direction of the Office of Student Engagement and Support.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Office of Student Engagement and Support.
Lead, coach, develop, and act as formal performance evaluator for Program Managers within the Office of Student Engagement and Support.
Supervise programs, projects, and strategy related to student-facing culture, including but not limited to targeted academic interventions and support.
Manages related external partnerships and collaborates with internal team in program/project management and development.
Accountable for establishing and then evaluating program outcomes as it relates to student interventions and support.
Cultivate relationships and create a community of support among campus leaders, district leaders, and external stakeholders as necessary.
In collaboration with Mental Health Services, School Leadership, and SEL departments, plans, designs, and leads professional development for campus leaders, teachers, and central office staff to build capacity around student support and maximize organizational learning.
Provides coaching and support to campus leadership and other staff to improve student experiences and school climate and culture.
Oversee the collection, interpretation, preparation, and dissemination of data related to student academic performance as well as campus climate and culture.
Review and share database reports and/or documentation that summarize departmental activities and strategic initiatives.
Design and lead regular team meetings and routines, inspiring and supporting the Student Services team to support the vision for the Office of Student Engagement and Support.
Lead special projects and execute presentations as determined by assigned supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
Master's degree from an accredited university in Educational Administration or School Counseling preferred.
Texas standard Principal Certificate, Mid-Management Certificate, or School Counseling Certificate preferred.
15 years of professional experience in education required.
3+ years of campus leadership experience preferred.
Proven track record of success implementing academic interventions and systems of support for students.
Ability to develop, organize, and facilitate effective professional development.
Efficient project management and collaboration skills with ability to effectively coordinate and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to interpret as well as analyze data and recommend appropriate plan of action.
Self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, analytical and leadership skills with ability to lead, coach, and build capacity among direct reports.
