Position Available: Heavy Civil Superintendent – Houston, Texas An experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent is needed to manage large-scale infrastructure construction projects in Houston, Texas. This role requires expertise in heavy civil construction, leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Coordinate schedules and resources with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Develop and manage project plans, including budgets and timelines. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and address issues promptly. Lead construction teams, fostering accountability, safety, and performance. Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and company policies. Maintain detailed project records and provide updates to stakeholders. Requirements: 10 years of heavy civil construction experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role. Expertise in managing large infrastructure projects like highways or bridges. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license; OSHA certification preferred.
