Description
The Head of Operations & Supply Chain is directly responsible for Demand Management, Supply & Procurement Activities; Inbound, Outbound and Reverse Logistics, Account Services, Direct Procurement and Facility Management. Acts as direct supervisor to the Demand & Supply Manager; Warehouse/Logistics Manager, Account Services Manager, and works closely with internal stakeholders including the Sr. Management Team, Logistics Team, Account Services Team, Procurement Team, Group Supply Chain Director; industrial Team and HSE Officer. Works closely with external vendors for facility leases, structural and maintenance, freight/logistics, contract manufacturing, finished inventory suppliers, EDI providers, security and safety vendors.
Essential Functions
Operations
Liaise with Country Manager to make decisions for operational activities and setting strategic goals regarding Demand & Supply, Logistics, Stock Purchasing, Account Services and the Facility.
Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of all operational departments to ensure smooth progress, setting and maintaining KPI’s.
Directly supervise Demand & Supply Team, Logistics, and Account Services.
Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
Supports the corporate vision, mission, and values.
Opex and Capex Budget accountability, budget planning, execution and monitoring.
Own Demand & Supply Business process according to Group guidelines.
Logistics/Warehouse
Ensure distribution, storage and packaging of goods in terms of cost, quality and time in accordance with laws and regulations and in conformity with the policies of the Company.
Optimize the shipping and warehouse expenses in accordance with the agreed customer service level and quality requirements. Evaluate yearly the main vendors activities and results.
Ensure the management of item data (creation, update, discontinuation) in collaboration with marketing and provide accurate information to the other departments regarding products (finance, marketing).
Facility Management
Overseeing and Managing contracts and providers for products and services including building lease, security, parking, cleaning and maintenance. Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and HVAC, are well-maintained. Managing maintenance and service budgets.
Participate with Finance and Purchasing Management on expansion and/or refurbishment projects and lead project with contractors.
Demand & Supply
Optimize short & long term forecast accuracy utilizing existing forecasting tool & analytics.
Optimize inventory and customer service level by appropriate procurement plans.
Organize the relationships with suppliers and monitor the supplier’s performance in order to meet the requests of the company (quality, costs, delay).
Works closely with other departments (Marketing, Quality Control, Finance), in order to achieve company objectives.
Ensure the procurement function’s early involvement in the product development process, to ensure a maximum contribution to improvement in product costs.
Account Services
Ensure the daily execution of order fulfillment, internal and external customer relationship management, accounts receivable, as well as daily and monthly customer sales reporting and forecasting.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements and work with internal stakeholders to formulate and implement solutions.
Analyzes sales statistics using system resources.
Identifies and resolves system and procedural problems by interdepartmental networking and recommending policy changes.
Continuously improves the department’s function, including the development of staff by providing effective coaching and feedback as well as appropriate delegation to staff members.
HSE
Complies with all OSHA safety requirements, work policy and regulations. Works closely with Local HSE Officer on implementing and Maintaining Local and Group Safety, Health, Security and Environmental initiatives.
General and Administrative
Supports the corporate vision, mission and values.
Communicates effectively with various management and operational departments, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.
Compile and/or maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
Follows systems and procedures outlined in company manuals.
Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
All other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
Formal Education and Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field required.
10+ years in end to end supply chain management, procurement, or other relevant operations may be substituted for education requirement.
Sigma Six and Supply Chain certification preferred.
Knowledge and Experience
GDP/GMP knowledge required.
End To End Supply chain experience (Demand to Distribution) in a FDA regulated industry highly preferred.
Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is a plus.

Location and Travel
Candidate must be able to commute to the Fort Worth Office Monday-Friday during the first 90-day probationary period. Hybrid options may be available as determined and agreed upon by Country Manager after successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
Must be able to travel internationally up to 15%.
