Summary of Position The Project Director plays a key role in the delivery of project activities and attainment of benchmarks for a four-year grant-funded training program, Building Futures Together. The Project Director will oversee all aspects of project management tasks including outreach and enrolling trainees, working with employer partners, evaluators, instructors, and IOD team staff. The Project Director will also supervise the Project Coordinator. This work location for this role is at the Durham Institute on Disability office and is eligible for hybrid work with frequently required travel. Valid Driver’s license or the ability to travel to work locations (Durham Concord, Manchester) as assigned is required.
Acceptable Minimum Level of Education Master's
Acceptable Minimum Years of Experience 3-5 years
Other Minimum Qualifications
4 years of experience in the behavioral health field, including training or instruction in cutting edge interventions and systems of care, and program planning and implementation.
Demonstrated skills in coordination, management, and administration of a major project.
Ability to travel as needed within NH.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Team player with focus on collaboratively accomplishing results.
Excellent MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Behavioral Health; additional consideration will be given to those with lived experience, and/or adult learners.
