Position Summary
The
President
is responsible for running day-to-day business operations and will directly lead the service department performing Commercial and Industrial Electrical, Automation, and Fire Safety services throughout the Greater Kansas City area based in Lee’s Summit, MO. In addition, the President has full P&L ownership and is accountable for achieving budgeted sales and profit goals. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and significant electrical construction, maintenance and installation operational experience. This position will report to our Regional VP of Operations, Central and West.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve budgeted revenue and profit goals.
Develop and implement growth plans across all lines of business.
Develop and implement plan to be the employer of choice in the region and increase the size of our field workforce (technicians).
Lead all departments and functions including all aspects of sales, customer service, quality control, project execution and field operations.
Develop new client relationships and build a sales capability in the market to build relationships across existing and prospective customers.
Identify and implement operational improvements across all departments (systems, processes, pricing, quality control, customer service, project estimation and execution, field productivity, etc.).
Oversee the financial operations of the company, including managing budgets and financial objectives, achievement of sales targets, controlling expenses, providing financial reporting, and delivering results.
Build long-term business relationships with clients, vendors, sub-contractors and partner companies within the Crete portfolio.
Position Requirements
Strong leader with a track-record of leading teams to achieve results.
Desire to lead a company through a period of transition and rapid growth.
10+ years management experience in the electrical construction, maintenance and installation industry.
Previous service management or service sales experience.
Electrical System technical knowledge gained through experience as an electrician, electrical estimator, project manager, electrical engineer, or operations/service manager.
Previous experience leading teams of 10 or more people.
Previous experience in a P&L responsible role.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
