We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity to a Customer Service Representative Basic (1-3 years) in Newark, Delaware. This role primarily involves addressing customer inquiries, maintaining meticulous customer records, and coordinating with other departments for resolution. You will also be tasked with managing customer accounts and taking necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications
• Handle inbound calls and understand call requests
• Resolve complex customer complaints
• Assist retirees with inquiries about their pension payments, tax forms, and withholdings
• Dispatch forms via mail, fax, and email to participants
• Collaborate with other departments to expedite customer inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records
• Utilize problem-solving skills as needed and route calls as required per client profile
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.• Possess 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Proficient in answering inbound calls, effectively addressing customer queries and concerns.
• Experience in payment processing, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency.
• Knowledgeable in the use of ProFile software for managing customer data.
• Able to operate fax machines for transmission of documents and information.
• Familiarity with tax forms, capable of aiding customers in filling them out accurately.
• Understanding of pension plans, able to explain and guide customers regarding their options.
• Knowledge in withholdings, capable of providing accurate information to customers.
