You will also contribute to key finance and HR projects, providing invaluable support to both departments.
Overview of the Payroll Specialist Role:
Sole responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing for the company.
Manage payroll functions in both union and non-union environments, ensuring compliance with multiple pay rules.
Research and report payroll operations to enhance overall processes and accuracy.
Collaborate with the Finance department on AP-related projects and provide support for HR initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:
A minimum of three (3) years of payroll experience.
Familiarity with time and attendance systems is essential.
Prior experience in a healthcare or union environment, managing complex payroll rules.
Knowledge of Paycor software is a plus.
