OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Technical Support Specialist to join our Tier 2 Services team. This role is pivotal in delivering top-tier support and managing key operational facets for our valued clients, including critical government agencies within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Homeland Security sectors. The ideal candidate will provide high-level Tier 2 white glove field support and will be responsible for the creation, deployment, and maintenance of custom Windows operating system images across various platforms. The position encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, divided into three primary categories: Tier 2 Services, Site Management Support, and On-Site Engineering Support.
Tier 2 Services:
VIP Support: Provide white-glove VTC coordination, troubleshooting, and management services for VIP users, ensuring high-grade communication capabilities. Patch Management: Spearhead patch management processes for customer equipment, guaranteeing secure and up-to-date systems during deployment days. Troubleshooting: Deliver VTC equipment and network troubleshooting support, swiftly restoring full functionality during outages and addressing anomalies.
Site Management Support:
Conference Coordination: Manage scheduling and coordination for all conference bridges, complying with government policies to ensure seamless communication. Peripheral Management: Offer comprehensive desktop touch labor services, assisting with peripheral installations, connectivity issues, and overall equipment management. Ticket Resolution: Efficiently handle service tickets for Customer Site issues, providing dedicated support to classified spaces and clientele.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in PC infrastructure management and Tier 2 support. Proficiency in Windows OS imaging, SCCM, MDT, and OSD deployment. Software development ability in Visual Basic, Batch, PowerShell, and automation techniques. Knowledge of data migration practices using USMT. Skilled in deploying patches, updates, and applications with reporting capabilities. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience in IT, computer science, or a related field. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
