We have an immediate opening for a skilled and proactive
PC/LAN Specialist 3
to join our IT team and provide first-level support to our end-users. As a key part of the IT support structure, the successful candidate will ensure the stability of the company's computer systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with configuring and optimizing systems. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR :
P/C LAN Specialist III will be primarily responsible for deployment, implementation, and support of the desktop and end-user environment. The person in this role will work closely with the Datacenter and Network teams to integrate software efficiently and effectively into the desktop image, package software with MECM/SCCM, update desktop image builds on an ongoing basis, and provide hands and eyes support for local servers, switches, routers, firewall. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated expert experience supporting end-user workstations, computer desktop software applications (including but not limited to RSA, MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), disk imaging, and anti-virus/spam software, performing testing and evaluation of hardware and software in a corporate environment and must possess advanced skills in Windows systems, and advanced desktop concepts. The PC/ LAN Specialist III will provide mentorship and technical leadership and will work closely with the IT management teams and business units to implement effective solutions aligned with the company's objectives including automating processes, licensing, and advising best practices on new features and policies. Providing expert level technical and operational support. Troubleshoot/diagnose complex desktop and desktop connectivity related issues. Provide leadership and knowledge to users in technical qualification or discovery sessions. Create and maintain system documentation including desktop procedures, end user procedures, system diagrams, disaster recovery plans, user access audits and test plans. Administer workstations to keep the systems running and healthy, including changes to the core components and settings, software delivery, client health, reporting and supporting disaster recovery efforts where needed Support in asset management activities of company owned workstations. Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems, recommend solutions, and perform preventative maintenance functions as required. Supporting workstation repair and hardware maintenance Participate in creating and implementing company IT standards and compliance metrics. Create, customize, deploy, and automate software packages. This includes scripting in the development of packages for application and OS deployment. Monitor and troubleshoot software package installation failures and provide regular status updates. Management and support of mobile devices via MDM systems such as Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. Create and maintain system documentation including desktop procedures, end user procedures, system diagrams, disaster recovery plans, user access audits and test plans. Accountability for the desktop experience and enterprise manageability of the desktop infrastructure Work with customers and Cybersecurity team to design, develop and implement modern security solutions leveraging Windows Defender and Intune Define detailed steps for any implementation work and adhere to defined change control processes. Help support Cybersecurity policies and procedures. Supporting multifactor authentication technologies including RSA and MS Authenticator Exceptional ability to provide a high level of support with a customer first attitude. Ensure the desktop or end-user installed software is traceable and accounted for. Writing How-to documentation Performs other duties as assigned. YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE :
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school and five plus (5+) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 8 years' experience troubleshooting hardware issues including desktop and laptops. Completion of field related certifications preferred. Experience with installation, configuration, security patching and troubleshooting of MS Windows OS. Microsoft technologies, Intune and MECM/SCCM. 5+ years of system administration experience with endpoint/mobile operating systems including but not limited to Windows 7, 10, 11, iOS, OSX, Android. Understanding of application packaging and delivery. Understanding of Modern Desktop Administration (deploy, configure, secure, manage, and monitor devices and client applications in an enterprise environment) 2 years' experience with ServiceNow and its functions. Experience with IT asset management and change control. Experience with basic network protocols and troubleshooting. Working experience in device co-management using Intune and MECM is desired Provide guidance to business units, driving solution adoption, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy. Ability to provide excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Ability to create policies and standards used to maintain the technical and application infrastructure. Ability to seek out opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Working experience in device co-management using Intune and MECM is desired Provide guidance to business units, driving solution adoption, and ensuring solution strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy.
