Job Description:

80% Lead strategic planning of maintenance and upgrades to the facility; Identify a 10 year planning strategy to make capital improvements to University Club and the LSU Golf Training Facility; Gather data and benchmarking from other collegiate golf course on maintenance, operation, budget and capital planning. Provide updates and summaries of data to the Sports Administrator to assist with strategy development; Prepare inspection reports and other documents as required by Athletic Facility Management at the University Club Golf Course.

10% Identify collegiate golf tournaments to host at the University Club Golf Course. Work with the Director of Game/Event Management on securing dates, providing bid information and tournament management.

5% Understand and comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, other federal laws, state law, and LSU policies on equal opportunity and discrimination, including, but not limited to, LSU Permanent Memorandum 55; Understand and comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and LSU policies on Title IX and sexual misconduct, including but not limited to LSU Permanent Memorandum 73 ("PM-73"), and, as a mandatory reporter under PM-73, understanding and complying with the obligation to report incidents of sexual misconduct (including sexual harassment and sexual violence) and other inappropriate sexual conduct of which Employee has knowledge or receives notice to LSU's Title IX Coordinator and other appropriate designee as required by PM-73.

5% Advance and support LSU and the Athletics Department diversity and inclusion initiatives through personal participation in educational and developmental opportunities, as well as participation in the creation of an inclusive culture consistent with the values of LSU and its Athletics Department; Perform other duties reasonably assigned by the Sports Administrator.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with three years experience in a collegiate golf program.

Special or Physical Qualifications:

Ability to work extended days and weekends as assigned.
