Darigold is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our team. The Benefits Analyst, a member of our Leave and Benefits team, designs and administers critical benefits and wellbeing programs that support all of our team members at work and beyond.

The Benefits Analyst will partner with Darigold's Senior Manager, Benefits to design and administer benefits programs supporting our total rewards strategy and our exceptional employee experience and providing excellent support to our employees while delivering accurate and timely delivery of all benefits programs.

What You Will Do:
  • Maintains Benefit Inbox and vendor sites, acting as main contact for employee's benefit administration and support. Provides superb customer service, resolving benefit inquiries from employees, HR Business Partners and vendors in a timely manner.
  • Monitors UKG File Transfers for completeness, addressing and resolving errors as needed or escalating and coordinating error resolution with UKG case management, as needed. Documenting details and providing case updates to team/vendors/manager.
  • Gathers employee data, processes benefit invoices and perform monthly billing and enrollment audits.
  • Helps to establish and deliver the annual benefits communication strategy, including maintaining and updating the Benefits SharePoint site, creating Monthly Newsletter content and TV Slides, in partnership with the Senior Manager, Benefits.
  • Supports the annual open enrollment process including preparing the open enrollment module in UKG, assisting with updating benefit guidebook and communication materials, coordinating open enrollment information sessions, tracking, implementing open enrollment changes, partnering with benefits vendors, and HR Business Partners, as needed.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Darigold benefits. Keeps abreast of federal, state and local laws affecting company benefit programs. Informs, updates and maintains programs for compliance.
  • Keeps aware of collective bargaining agreement provisions to aid with benefit or leave related matters.
  • Provides input to and develops content for employee benefits communications, including, a regular cadence of promotion and education materials that support building understanding and reinforcing the value of our benefits programs.
  • Facilitates required benefit-related rate updates within the HRIS system to ensure accuracy and compliance with benefit calculations. Collaborates with Benefits, HRIS, and Payroll teams on benefit-related changes, or updates, as needed. Maintains documentation of and informs team and business of impending changes.
  • Collaborates with Senior Manager, Benefits on wellness programming including plan design, benchmarking and related events including benefit fairs, financial and wellness solutions, retirement education seminars and flu shot clinics.
  • Acts as backup for Leave Administrator to provide support and guidance to HR Generalists and Payroll for FMLA, Disability and WC leave cases.
  • Works with the Benefit and Payroll Managers to evaluate and develop benefits, payroll and reporting tools fitting company goals and objectives.
  • Facilitates annual 401k and financial audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
  • Responsible for completion of Darigold's annual compliance filings including, but not limit to: annual 1095C reporting, and FSA Plan Discrimination Testing.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of employee and employer 401k contributions (1st Reviewer and Submitter for Approval).
  • Assists with 401(k) Plan administration by supporting plan non-discrimination testing, annual audit, financial statements, Form 5500 preparation, and filing.
  • Assists with developing new procedures for design of current and new systems.
  • Independently researches issues, gather data, and advise on findings.
  • Manages and keeps up to date procedural documentation for all job duties.
  • Builds and maintains cross-functional relationships with stakeholders such as Benefits, Leave, HRBPs, Finance, Legal, and Tax.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, Payroll, business systems analysis or related experience required.
  • Experience with Benefits Administration, HRIS & Timekeeping administration preferably UKG Workforce Management, UKG Pro and Business Intelligence highly desired.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex problems and maintain confidential HR work.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently to resolve problems and implement new initiatives in support of team goals.
  • Stays current on innovative practices and trends in HR, employee benefits and payroll.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective leveraging HRIS Reporting, Excel & BI tools to manipulate large sets of data to identify trends, summarize data concisely and provide insights.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, Advanced Excel skills required including the ability to format data, build financial models and build pivot tables.
  • Leverages new technology to bring process efficiencies.

  • Compensation range: $71,382 - $107,073 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge and skills)
