Emergency Medicine Physician

* Coverage Needed: * December 2, 2024 - ongoing * 12 shifts / month * Mon-Fri: * 7am - 5pm * 12pm -10pm * 4pm - 1am * 10pm - 7am * Sat-Sun: * 7am - 7pm * 11am - 11pm * 7pm - 7am * Clinical Information: * Inpatient: Back-up airway responsibilities in situations where anesthesiology is unable to assist with an intubation (incredibly rare) * Outpatient: * Approximately 35,000 visits with a 13.26% admission rate and a 4% transfer rate * 20% of patients are * 24/7 in-house OB-GYN and anesthesiology coverage * Level 4 trauma designation * Medevac services are available for critical transfers with a dispatch to door time averaging 8 minutes * Should be prepared to manage all standard emergency medicine patients. Additionally, physicians should be procedurally skilled and comfortable taking care of pediatric, traumatically injured, and critically ill patients * Supporting staff: 36 hours of APC coverage every day * Required: * DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active * Current Flu Vaccine * Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 * Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility. * Board Certified EM * Active PA License
