We are seeking a strong human resource professional with proven work experience as an HR manager to join our growing company. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our positive employee relations culture, where everyone understands how important they are to B&K's success. You will collaborate with managers and our field leaders to create lasting relationships and make a positive impact on the business. What you’ll do: Ensure positive employee relations and build the B&K culture based on our Core values Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to: Compensation Benefits and leave Disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations Performance and talent management Productivity, recognition, and morale Takes the lead in our workforce development strategy to continue to have B&K as the premier mechanical contractor. Manages the talent acquisition process, ensuring we maintain high standards of attracting the best. Ensure all recruiting activity and documentation is managed in B&K’s applicant tracking system and accordance with affirmative action policies Responsible for new employee orientations, ensuring the employee experience is exceptional. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records Performs periodic audits of HR records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately Successfully establish and maintain professional relationships with employees and all levels of management What you’ll need (minimum qualifications): Bachelor’s degree in business or related field 5-8 years minimum HR experience required Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Nice to have: Advanced skills in Excel PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/CHRL/CPHR.
