The Mini Bar Attendant at The Manchester Hotel is a member of the housekeeping team. They are responsible for ensuring the Mini Bars in the rooms throughout the property are fully stocked, accounted for, and up to property standards. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Inventorying each room where there is activity every day.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of Mini Bars throughout the rooms of the hotel.
  • Stock mini bar carts according to daily fill requirements.
  • Keep the mini bar storeroom neat and organized while accounting for all inventory of food & beverage items.
  • Replenish used items in mini bars.
  • Accurate reporting of mistakenly charged items on guest folio.
  • Inspect and restock guest room self-serve bars according to established standards of the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Ensure that all in-room accessories and promotional materials are in place and displayed in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Maintain an adequate stock of products on the service cart and restock as needed in preparation for the following shift.
  • Assist the housekeeping team where necessary.
  • Additional tasks via the Maintenance team or Housekeeping team may be provided.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting production schedules and timelines for guests and fellow workers.
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in Housekeeping is preferred but not required.
  • Attendants do not always work an 8-hour shift, shifts may vary dependent on hotel and room needs.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills as the Mini Bar Attendant may converse with guests throughout their shift.
  • Mini Bar Attendant is a part-time role; however, there may be opportunities to cross train to meet full-time hours.
  • Ability to stand for most of the shifts.
  • Ability to lift at least 20lbs.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to have a positive outlook while being a brand ambassador for The Manchester Hotel.
