CAS is currently seeking a Commercialization Manager for our Sales team. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Position Summary:
The Commercialization Manager serves as a hybrid, multi & inter-disciplinary role, which connects strategy, operations, product marketing, program management and product management. The function's key role is to lead the successful launch of new products and services and to successfully execute commercial initiatives.

Position Summary:
The Commercialization Manager serves as a hybrid, multi & inter-disciplinary role, which connects strategy, operations, product marketing, program management and product management. The function's key role is to lead the successful launch of new products and services and to successfully execute commercial initiatives.
Job Accountabilities:
- Manage cross functional initiatives to grow market share, revenue and/or outstanding customer experience
- Provides clear direction to cross functional teams based on input from Sales Strategy and other cross functional leadership decisions
- Collaborates with sales, sales operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure successful launch and execution of GTM motions for new products, offerings, and initiatives
- Partners with sales managers and sales team members to effectively communicate / launch new initiatives as well as secure field/customer perspective on product/initiative launches
- Maximize profit by innovating, leading and supporting productivity projects on existing and new CAS products and service offerings
- Drive the orderly and timely development and commercialization of the new and existing CAS products and services
- Lead by example and mentor business analysis staff
- Effect project/program management of complex launch initiatives
- Ability to effectively deal with work and time pressures to accomplish job requirements in an efficient and effective manner
- Work with sales personnel to effectively identify opportunities for customized solutions in specific sales campaigns
- Participate on an as needed basis on deal desk calls with strategic account and field sales teams to strategize on the optimal strategy to sell new services
- Creates business cases that demonstrate value to the Customer, show the feasibility of the solution, including timelines
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, or science related fields. Chemistry-related fields, or rich history with chemical applications preferred; experience and knowledge of research and information industry a strong plus
- Proven ability to conceptualize customized solutions and sell these solutions to clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to build networks and connections
- 7 years of Sales or Sales Operations experience working in a global capacity across multiple theaters and cultures
- Highly skilled in market analysis with excellent analytical and structuring skills
- Strong in time management and problem solving
- Experience managing cross functional teams particularly with product, marketing and sales members.
- Experience with science related solutions and/or information/intellectual property
- Strong capacity to communicate with executives and drive alignment on common objectives
- Proven ability to work with field sales representatives and sales management
