Job Title Business Development Manager Job Description We seek an experienced Business Development Manager to join Canada's growing Sage Intacct sales team. Scaling Sage Intacct is our #1 company initiative. As our Business Development Manager, you'll have a front-row seat to influence the company's success. You will interact with customers daily to understand their business needs and apply Sage Intacct solutions.
In this role, your primary responsibility is driving business growth and expanding Sage Intacct Canada's customer base by identifying and nurturing potential opportunities through proactive outreach and effective lead qualification.
Hybrid: 3 days per week in our downtown Toronto office. Key Responsibilities Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Prospect and research potential leads or target accounts.
• Initiate outbound calls to introduce Intacct solutions.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Intacct offerings.
• Collaborate with the sales team to hand off qualified opportunities.
• Meet or exceed set targets and KPIs.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of professional working experience, coupled with an interest in transitioning to a role in outbound sales.
• A minimum of one year of proven experience in a sales or business development role, with a focus on outbound prospecting or lead generation.
• Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets.
• Ability to travel within Canada is required (25%.).
Key metrics for success in this role include:
• Making a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day.
• Sending a minimum of 30 targeted emails per day.
• Generating a minimum of 4 qualified opportunities per week through inbound leads, calls, email, and social outreach.
• Actively managing and progressing sales cadences.
