Job Title Strategic Alliances Manager Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Strategic Alliances Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing all field initiatives with partners to drive opportunities for our sales organization. This includes organizing and managing webinars, events, and other creative initiatives to leverage the install base of our partners, which include industry leaders such as AWS and large associations. This role requires a strong sales mindset and the ability to effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will also be given a target to drive a specific number of sales-qualified opportunities. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
• Partner Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, including AWS and large industry associations, to enhance collaboration and drive mutual business growth.
• Field Initiatives Execution: Plan and execute field initiatives, including webinars, events, and other marketing activities, to generate leads and opportunities for the sales team.
• Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales organization to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools, information, and support to capitalize on partner-driven opportunities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Opportunity Development: Identify and develop new opportunities through partner channels, leveraging the existing install base.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of partner initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Sales Targets: Meet or exceed assigned targets for driving sales-qualified opportunities through partner channels.
• Travel: Regular travel within Canada (approximately 50%) to meet with partners and support field initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology or B2B environment.
• Sales Mindset: Proven track record of driving sales through partner channels and initiatives.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time within Canada.
• Location: Based in Toronto, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model (combining remote and in-office work).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the technology sector and an understanding of SaaS or software products.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
