Job Title Bilingual French/English Business Development Manager Job Description As our French / English Business Development Manager, every day you will work closely with the Channel Executive team, Partner Marketing, and Strategic Alliances with the collective goal of maximizing the sales results of our over 40-member reseller partner network. Currently, a team of two, the successful Business Development Manager candidate will be a fully bilingual (FR & EN) marketing/sales expert who will have ownership over specific programs to create opportunities for both French and English-based reseller partners via their assigned Channel Executives. To thrive in this role, you will drive sales performance in a highly collaborative environment.
Hybrid: 3 days per week in our downtown Toronto office. Key Responsibilities Opportunity Development:
• Warm-Engagement: The conversion of Marketing qualified leads (MQL) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQO) through the BANT process. The source of these engagements will come from two general areas. 1) Partner-run marketing programs | 2) Sage-run marketing programs aimed at supporting our reseller partners.
• Cold-Engagement: We have a library of Industry (Vertical) specific outlines with identified C-Suite / VP level finance leaders to reach out to and set meetings that will convert to qualified opportunities that will be passed to our Channel Executive sales team.
Day-to-Day Cadence:
• Build / Manage lead and opportunity strategies by working with the Channel Executives to support their partner's SQO goals.
• Conduct vertically driven market research, networking, and intelligent outreach to generate leads.
• Using the Budget, Authority, Need, and Timing process to convert engagement into qualified opportunities as the engine to drive our Channel Executive / Partner reseller sales success.
• Engage directly with Chief Financial Officers and other senior decision-makers to set qualification meetings
• High volume engagement through phone, MS Teams meetings, and email managed via a structured Outreach strategy
Enablement:
• Effect skills transfer for key technical, consulting, sales, and marketing personnel within each partner organization.
• Develop and maintain channel enablement tools to facilitate partner assimilation and ensure partner success.
• Organize channel training to educate, motivate, and activate sales and marketing people through the use of our channel tools.
• Identify issues, and build and execute plans to improve a partner's performance.
• Learn and maintain competitive knowledge of industries and products to leverage in the sales cycle.
Lead-2-Opportunity Pipeline Management:
• Achieve opportunity generation quota.
• Create Sage Intacct, 300 & X3 partner sales opportunities through partner account strategy, forecasting, account resource allocation, and planning.
• Initiate joint business planning and marketing plans with Channel Executives and Partner Marketing for a sales objective.
Job Requirements:
• 1+ years of sales experience.
• High business acumen is a must as is a successful and proven track record in performance in leveraged sales.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
• Ability to manage and articulate complex processes.
• Business development, account management, and business planning skills.
