Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Managing veterinarian to join our team! This role is eligible for a cash buy-in of up to 10% of the ownership of the hospital. We also can offer a $20K sign-on bonus and a base Salary of up to $185K based on experience.
Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a very calm environment. Our expert veterinary surgeons can perform a variety of services that your dog or cat may require, including spay & neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery to treat joint and bone problems. Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.

Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience working as a veterinarian.
Responsibilities:
The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered.
In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets, and meeting budget expectations. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for directing staff and the overall management of the practice, under the direction of NVA Divisional Leadership.
