Job Summary: As a key driver of exceptional customer service, the Regional Sales Manager will cultivate a dynamic environment that values creativity, motivation, and dedication. This role is crucial for increasing sales revenue and maintaining strong customer relationships. Travel will be essential to expand sales with existing distributors, forge new partnerships, and represent the company at National and Regional Trade Shows. The ideal candidate will excel in vendor/client relationships and possess in-depth knowledge of our products.
Salary: range between $130,000 - $160,000, with commission potential up to $200,000

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regularly assess sales performance and profitability in alignment with Echelon's evaluation process. Manage the territories of existing distribution networks to ensure that territorial goals are achieved.
- Monitor sales performance and analyze data, submitting reports on monthly and quarterly sales results
- Assist distributors by responding to inquiries, facilitating information exchange, coordinating activities, supporting sales calls, and providing training for sales personnel both on-site and via video conferencing.
- Prepare and provide various reports, including weekly activity summaries, trip reports, forecasts, and weekly expense accounts in compliance with policy; including KPI's and P&L
- Hire, manage, coach, mentor, train and support all Regional Sales team members
- Direct oversight and P&L management to ensure achievement of net profitability goals, margins, and costs
- Work with Sales leads to assist in development and implementation of programs to meet customer requirements
- Conduct Annual performance reviews for direct team and provide oversight of the next level
- Travel with sales team, manage accounts and track performance 2 weeks per month at a minimum
- Actively provide recommendations for enhancing a product, process, or practice
- Develop new product concepts and/or market opportunities for management, utilizing a Business Case framework
- Ensure proper operational efficiencies within the region
- Support and develop a culture of Safety in all phases of the business
- Stay updated on the current market landscape, trends, and identify potential target accounts
- Coordinate with the inside and outside sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & financial goals
- Use of ERP and CRM system to perform duties
- Sales Expertise: 8+ years of experience preferred; ability to meet and exceed goals
- Leadership Experience: Required experience as a supervisor or group leader
- Educational Background: BA in Business or a related field preferred but not mandatory
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Multi-tasking Ability: Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
- People-Oriented: Passionate about customer service and enjoys working with diverse individuals
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong relationship-building abilities
- Technical Proficiency: Solid computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a willingness to learn new software
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in industrial distribution, fluid power, hydraulic hose and fittings preferred
- Familiarity with Products: Knowledge of industrial and hydraulic hoses and fittings preferred
