What You'll Do:
• Serve as a consultant to department leaders on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development initiatives
• Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations to enhance HR strategies and processes
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding, performance evaluations, promotions, and separations
• Oversee the administration of payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Administer and communicate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other offerings
• Implement and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and proper utilization across the organization
• Partner with recruiters to support talent acquisition efforts, including job description development, interviewing, and selection processes
• Advise managers and employees on interpreting and adhering to HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
• Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to develop employee and managerial capabilities
• Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
What You Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
• 5 - 7 years of HR generalist or business partner experience, preferably in the media and digital space
• Extensive knowledge of HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll, time & attendance, applicant tracking, pay equity systems)
• Strong understanding of benefits administration, including health, leaves programs and 401k
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition processes
• Proficient in analyzing HR data and metrics to drive decision-making
• Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations primarily for NY, ATL and LA
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Position will require limited travel, overtime and weekend work
