Proud of our yesterday and focused on building the team of tomorrow.Position OverviewAs the Director of Global Trade Compliance, you will play a vital role in implementing, managing, and collaborating on trade compliance programs; to include CTPAT, AEO, FTZs, Duty Drawback, and Proof of Export.You will be responsible for completing major projects, programs, or processes that have significant business impacts. Collaborating with internal and external partners, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, Consultants and Internal Counsel.What You'll DoAdvise and communicate in export / import related areas, including but not limited to: Export and Import Regulations, Classification (HTS and ECCN) and Valuation, Internal Audits, Procedures and Training, Returns for Repair/Replacement, Import/Import Record Retention, Country of Origin / Marking, Free Trade Agreement Qualification/Certification, and Export Control ScreeningPartner in day-to-day and transactional compliance matters with internal and external partners, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, Consultants and Internal Counsel.Serve as the authority supporting the resolution of import and export transactional compliance issues. May include investigating and analyzing and/or defining corrective measures on a transactional basis or systemic level.Monitor, audit, and use results to evaluate efficiency of the Global Trade Compliance Program.Implement improvements to the program as necessary.Identify, review, and submit Reportable Compliance Incidents, creating investigation work plans, interviewing employees, supporting root cause analysis and the identification of effective corrective actions, reviewing documentation, and analyzing and compiling investigation results.Implement, lead, and collaborate on trade compliance programs; to include CTPAT, AEO, FTZs, Duty Drawback, Proof of Export, etc.Travel, up to 30%Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree, in Supply Chain, International Business/Law, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent experience10+ years of Compliance, Legal, and/or regulatory experience5+ years management experience, across global regionsLicensed Customs Broker preferredEffective communicator with compliance management and business leaders and teams, including excellent written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated expertise in Global Trade Management tools and systems.Steward for embedding import / export compliance goals and objectives within business processes for optimal results.Strong technical knowledge of customs laws and regulations.Salary Range$170,000 - $200,000 annually.Stanley is committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
