About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Global Controller to lead its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting matters, spearheading treasury operations, and providing strategic guidance to ensure financial integrity and compliance. This pivotal role involves shaping and executing the financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals, supervising a team of finance professionals, and enhancing department efficiency to support future growth. The VP Global Controller will also champion compliance, foster a culture of accountability, and collaborate with cross-departmental teams to streamline processes. Candidates for the VP Global Controller position at The Company should have a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS, active ownership of global audits, and proficiency in consolidation are essential. The role requires a leader who can demonstrate mastery of financial processes, and international accounting principles and has experience in international team management and change management. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, coachable, resilient, and solution-oriented, with a proven track record of fostering innovation and driving operational excellence. Experience in leading accounting due diligence efforts, and knowledge of complex transfer pricing arrangements and international tax issues, are highly regarded.
