About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you'll play a vital role in our patient care operations. You'll be responsible for drawing blood samples, preparing specimens, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and create a positive and reassuring environment.
- Phlebotomy: Accurately and efficiently draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Specimen Processing: Prepare and process blood samples for laboratory testing, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred, especially in CA, NV, and WA)
- Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Medical assistant or paramedic training
- Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
