Live Here Work Here Sr. Office Assistant Greets customers and answers phones; Answers questions and provides information to the general public. Accepts payments for event reservations for the different facilities on the property. Prepare the weekly deposit. Prepare weekly reports that are required by the County Auditor's office. Coordinates with onsite staff for facilities maintenance and repairs. Maintain and update schedules and calendars of upcoming events. Other duties assigned. Knowledge of rodeo, livestock, and similar events preferred. Researches other facilities and best practices in the industry to best meet the needs of Fort Bend County residents. Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED. 2 years of job related experience; prior experience with rodeo, livestock or similar events preferred. Excellent computer and typing skills. Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with others. Strong organizational skills; ability to complete assigned tasks within tight deadlines and to prioritize own and others' work. SALARY RANGE: $16.00 - $19.64 hourly based on qualifications CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position All full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS).
