Sr. Office Assistant
- Greets customers and answers phones; Answers questions and provides information to the general public.
- Accepts payments for event reservations for the different facilities on the property. Prepare the weekly deposit.
- Prepare weekly reports that are required by the County Auditor's office.
- Coordinates with onsite staff for facilities maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain and update schedules and calendars of upcoming events.
- Other duties assigned.
- Knowledge of rodeo, livestock, and similar events preferred.
- Researches other facilities and best practices in the industry to best meet the needs of Fort Bend County residents.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2 years of job related experience; prior experience with rodeo, livestock or similar events preferred.
- Excellent computer and typing skills.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and database software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with others.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to complete assigned tasks within tight deadlines and to prioritize own and others' work.
SALARY RANGE: $16.00 - $19.64 hourly based on qualifications
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
