The students would analyze patient medical records to assure thatdocumentation by providers conforms to legal and procedural requirements.Assists physicians and medical providers in accurately documenting patientencounters. This includes but, not limited to, documenting key portions of themedical note include the History of Present Illness, Review of Systems, PastMedical History, and the Physical exam as directed by the provider. Interactswith physicians and other providers to ensure proper coding of patient charts,maximized efficiency, and optimization of patient throughput.Scribes play a critical rolein enhancing patient care by assisting healthcare providers in documentingpatient encounters accurately and efficiently. Will work various shiftsincluding overnights at Sandoval Regional Medical Center and UNMH departments.Opportunities to work with a variety of clinicians, including personnel withADA accommodations.
