OSFM is recruiting for a

Community Wildfire Risk Reduction Coordinator

( Program Analyst 3 ). As the

Community Wildfire Risk Reduction Coordinator , you will plan, manage and evaluate the Community Wildfire Risk Reduction (CWRR) Program by designing policies, procedures, and workflow to design, document and measure the effectiveness of the CWRR Unit in the seven geographically assigned regions to address fire risk in Oregon. This position coordinates and collaborates with a variety of internal and external partners, such as structural agencies, state partners, local governments, non-governmental organizations, tribal partners, and much more!

Click here to review the complete position description. This is a full-time, permanent position and is represented by the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) union. This position is based at our Salem, Oregon office, however, the successful candidate may be eligible for remote work options, depending on business needs. The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. When the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years' experience coordinating or administering a program

OR;

Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

Special Qualifications

:

Requires a valid drivers' license with an acceptable driving record or an alternate mode of transportation. Desired Attributes:

Demonstrated experience with managing state or federal programs. Strong collaboration and coordination skills amongst internal and external partners. Knowledge of and experience with requirements for managing, tracking, and administering state or federal grant awards. Experience analyzing data to identify gaps, drive program improvement, and determine program priorities. Strong communication skills including writing, speaking, and presenting to diverse audiences. Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution ability.
