Position Summary: The HR Generalist/Recruiter is a versatile role focused primarily on recruitment (80%) while supporting general HR functions. This position plays a key role in sourcing and attracting top talent to meet organizational needs while ensuring HR operations align with company policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment (80%)

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. Source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate engagement, offer negotiation, and onboarding. Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely tracking of candidate pipelines. Conduct reference checks and background screenings as part of the pre-employment process. Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and recruitment agencies to build a strong talent pipeline. Track recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill and quality of hire, and report on trends. Generalist HR Functions (20%)

Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization. Support the administration of HR policies and programs, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance. Participate in HR projects, such as process improvements and policy updates. Address employee inquiries regarding recruitment, benefits, and HR policies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain employee records and HR documentation with confidentiality and accuracy. Plus - may perform other duties as assigned.

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred: SHRM-CP or PHR certifications Experience:

Minimum of 2-4 years of recruitment experience, with additional exposure to HR generalist responsibilities preferred. Technical & Specialized Skills:

Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Experience with high-volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, including employer branding. Proficiency in behavioral-based interviewing techniques. Familiarity with workforce analytics and recruitment metrics. Behavioral Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail. Working Conditions:

Standard office environment Occasional travel within Southern California may be required. Full-time position with standard business hours; flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods is expected. Salary:

$80,000 - $90,000 per year DOE

Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
