We are looking for a dedicated Senior Technical Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in supporting the implementation of accounting policies and driving process improvements. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
Job Description
What you will do • Support the cross-functional implementation of new accounting policies. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to consolidation and financial reporting. • Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation, recording organizational policies and conclusions. • Prepare consolidated annual financial statements under US GAAP standards and associated disclosures. • Collaborate with external auditors on key accounting matters and support the accounting and finance teams during audits. • Assist with special projects and tasks as needed. • Research and resolve reporting and general accounting issues.

Requirements/Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. • CPA or equivalent certification preferred. • Over 4 years of progressive experience in accounting, focusing on technical accounting and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and various accounting standards.
This position is hybrid based in our Palo Alto, CA office. However, we are open to considering remote candidates who are highly qualified and reside in the Eastern Time Zone.
The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 USD annually and is just one component of SymphonyAI's comprehensive compensation package. Additional compensation may include participation in a bonus program. SymphonyAI also offers a range of benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, life and disability coverage, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO).
