JOB SUMMARY

Talent Acquisition Coordinator

who will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring healthcare professionals to meet the staffing needs of our growing organization. It is highly preferred that this candidate has extensive experience in the medical and/or healthcare industries. The candidate should have a keen eye for reviewing resumes and experience conducting interviews for multiple locations in various cities across Texas.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that we have a skilled and qualified workforce to deliver high-quality patient care. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to identify and attract top talent.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a recruitment strategy by utilizing various sourcing techniques such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to identify and attract healthcare professional staff.

• Review and analyze resumes utilizing our internal ATS program through Paylocity, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience to ensure alignment with job requirements and organizational needs.

• Manage and create all job requisitions and post on internal and external sites.

• Develop industry specific recruiting partnerships through career fairs, employment agencies, and other sources to ensure a talent pipeline is in place.

• Responsible for creating and updating job descriptions by working alongside the hiring managers.

• Conduct interviews through the utilization of best-in-class tools for interviewing, both in-person and via video conferencing, to evaluate candidates' suitability for specific positions.

• Assess candidates' technical competencies, cultural fit, and motivation to work in the healthcare industry.

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Manage communication and feedback loops between candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

• Ensure all hiring managers are complying with existing laws when interviewing candidates while implementing training when necessary.

• Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely and constructive feedback, addressing candidate inquiries and concerns, and maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

• Stay up to date with relevant healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and industry trends to ensure compliance in recruitment practices. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards related to recruitment and hiring.

• Build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, recruitment activities, and hiring metrics using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other tools.

• Collaborate with hiring managers, department heads, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders to understand staffing requirements, prioritize recruitment needs, and develop effective recruitment strategies.

• Process all pre-employment screening such as backgrounds, references, etc.

• Complete all new hire paperwork with candidates who onboard with the organization.

• Develop, implement, and manage a robust onboarding and orientation process for new employees.

• Work alongside hiring managers throughout the onboarding and orientation process to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.

• Other duties related to staffing and onboarding as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of full cycle recruiting

• Previous experience in healthcare recruitment or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or other related fields preferred

• Must have demonstrated ability to be detailed and organized.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

• Time management skills. Strong organizational skills. Good written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using recruitment software, ATS platforms (Paylocity), and other HR tools.

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.

• Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work environment is an office location. The position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as personal computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone.

• Occasional lifting may be required up to 25lbs.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to clinic locations throughout Texas, job fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events.
